Austin and the team at Bayshore Nightscapes absolutely knocked it out of the park! We recently had landscape lighting installed around our home, including the front landscaping and driveway, and the results exceeded our expectations. Austin was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He really knows his stuff, has a great eye for detail, and helped bring our vision to life. The lighting completely transformed the look of our home at night. Everything looks clean, elegant, and professionally done without being overdone. You can tell Austin takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about making sure his customers are happy. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you’re considering landscape lighting in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend Austin and Bayshore Nightscapes. Five stars all around!
Outdoor lighting in Rattlesnake
Rattlesnake carries one of the best neighborhood names in Tampa — a holdover from the rattlesnake cannery that once operated on the Interbay peninsula — and today it is one of South Tampa's most active pockets of renovation and infill construction. New two-story builds sit next to original bungalows and cottages, and both gain enormous curb appeal from a well-executed landscape lighting system. Convenient to Gandy, Westshore, and MacDill, it is a neighborhood where lighting investment shows up directly in how the house presents.
For new builds we plan around the architecture: facade grazing, in-grade uplights on vertical elements, and hidden pathway lighting at steps and entries. For renovated cottages we keep it simpler and warmer — a lit entry, two or three uplit trees, garden lighting through the front beds. Backyards get outdoor living lighting for patios and pool decks, and because the bay is close, everything is brass or copper rated for coastal air.

Common questions
Does landscape lighting add resale value?
It is one of the highest-return exterior improvements you can make, and it changes how a property photographs — twilight listing photos of a well-lit home consistently draw more attention than daytime shots alone.
Can you install before landscaping is finished?
We can, and sometimes should. If new plantings and hardscape are still going in, we install sleeves and main cable runs first, then set and aim fixtures once the landscape is planted.
What does a Rattlesnake project cost?
Most systems here run $2,500 to $8,000. Renovated cottages tend toward the lower end; new two-story construction with a pool deck runs higher.
Do you offer an evening demonstration?
Yes. We bring fixtures to your property after dark and show you the actual light on your actual house before you commit to anything. It is free and there is no obligation.
