Austin and the team at Bayshore Nightscapes absolutely knocked it out of the park! We recently had landscape lighting installed around our home, including the front landscaping and driveway, and the results exceeded our expectations. Austin was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He really knows his stuff, has a great eye for detail, and helped bring our vision to life. The lighting completely transformed the look of our home at night. Everything looks clean, elegant, and professionally done without being overdone. You can tell Austin takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about making sure his customers are happy. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you’re considering landscape lighting in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend Austin and Bayshore Nightscapes. Five stars all around!
Outdoor lighting in Parkland Estates
Parkland Estates is a small, meticulously preserved 1920s enclave off Swann Avenue, with brick streets, original street lamps, and large period homes set behind deep lawns and old oaks. It is arguably the most cohesive historic streetscape in Tampa, and lighting has to respect that. Our landscape lighting designs here are deliberately quiet: warm color temperature, low output, hidden hardware, and emphasis on the architecture rather than the fixtures.
We graze stucco, brick, and cast stone to bring out texture, uplight columns and arched openings, and use tree uplighting in the oaks to give the property canopy depth. Discreet pathway lighting follows original brick walks at low levels so it complements the historic street lamps instead of competing. Fixtures are tucked into the beds, so there is almost nothing visible during the day.

Common questions
How do you light a home without competing with the historic street lamps?
By keeping levels below them and staying warm. The street lamps set the ambient tone; our fixtures work at lower output on the property itself, which reads as depth rather than as a second, brighter light source.
Can installation work around brick streets and walks?
Yes. We hand-trench alongside brick surfaces and bore beneath them when a crossing is unavoidable, restoring the surface exactly as found. Original brick is never cut.
What do Parkland Estates projects cost?
Most systems here run $5,000 to $16,000, driven mainly by lot size, facade complexity, and how much of the oak canopy is included.
Will you coordinate with our landscape designer?
Gladly. Lighting and planting decisions affect each other, and coordinating early means fixtures end up where the mature landscape will actually want them rather than where it happens to be today.
