Austin and the team at Bayshore Nightscapes absolutely knocked it out of the park! We recently had landscape lighting installed around our home, including the front landscaping and driveway, and the results exceeded our expectations. Austin was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He really knows his stuff, has a great eye for detail, and helped bring our vision to life. The lighting completely transformed the look of our home at night. Everything looks clean, elegant, and professionally done without being overdone. You can tell Austin takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about making sure his customers are happy. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you’re considering landscape lighting in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend Austin and Bayshore Nightscapes. Five stars all around!
Outdoor lighting in Beach Park Isles
Beach Park Isles is built on a set of finger canals reaching in from Old Tampa Bay, which means almost every home here has a seawall, a dock, and a back yard that faces water instead of a fence. That reshapes the lighting plan entirely: the most valuable views are from the water looking in, and from the patio looking out. Our landscape lighting designs work both directions, giving the house a lit presence from the canal while keeping the deck comfortable and glare-free.
We light dock approaches and piling caps, graze the seawall to define the water's edge, and set step and pathway lighting fixtures wherever grade changes toward the water. Everything is marine-grade brass or copper with sealed connectors, because canal-front humidity and salt destroy anything less. Waterside patios and summer kitchens get warm, dimmable outdoor living lighting so evenings on the dock stay comfortable well past sunset.

Common questions
Is dock and seawall lighting safe around water?
Yes. These are 12-volt low-voltage circuits, which are inherently safe in wet locations, and every fixture and connector we use in these zones is rated for submersion or direct water contact.
Can the system be seen from the canal?
That is one of the goals. We aim a portion of the design so the house reads beautifully from the water — a real advantage for boaters coming home after dark and for resale photography.
How well do fixtures hold up on a canal?
Solid brass and copper are the only materials we will put on a canal-front property. They patina rather than corrode and carry a 20-year warranty. Aluminum fixtures typically fail here in three to five years.
What is the typical investment in Beach Park Isles?
Most projects run $4,500 to $14,000. Waterfront lots need more fixtures than comparable inland lots because you are lighting the front, the sides, and a full water frontage.
