Austin and the team at Bayshore Nightscapes absolutely knocked it out of the park! We recently had landscape lighting installed around our home, including the front landscaping and driveway, and the results exceeded our expectations. Austin was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He really knows his stuff, has a great eye for detail, and helped bring our vision to life. The lighting completely transformed the look of our home at night. Everything looks clean, elegant, and professionally done without being overdone. You can tell Austin takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about making sure his customers are happy. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you’re considering landscape lighting in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend Austin and Bayshore Nightscapes. Five stars all around!
Outdoor lighting in Bayshore Beautiful
Bayshore Beautiful earned its name honestly. Running inland from Bayshore Boulevard between Bay to Bay and Sunset, it is a neighborhood of deep front lawns, brick-accented bungalows, and a live oak canopy that closes over the street. That canopy is the single best lighting opportunity in South Tampa, and tree uplighting is where most of our Bayshore Beautiful designs begin — narrow-beam fixtures set at the base of the oaks, throwing light up through the limbs and Spanish moss.
From there we layer: grazing light across brick and stucco facades, soft garden lighting through the beds, and low pathway lighting along the front walk so guests can find the door. Because so many homes here are original 1920s construction, we keep hardware discreet and finishes dark, and we use warm 2700K LEDs that read like incandescent light rather than the cold blue of hardware-store kits. Nothing about the system should be visible at noon.

Common questions
What does it cost to uplight the oaks on my property?
A focused oak uplighting package usually runs $1,800 to $4,000 depending on how many trees and how large they are. Most Bayshore Beautiful homeowners pair it with facade and pathway lighting, which puts a full front-yard system in the $3,500 to $8,000 range.
Is uplighting harmful to mature live oaks?
No. We use LED fixtures that generate very little heat and we mount them at the ground, away from bark and root flare. Cable runs are shallow and hand-trenched so we never cut through major roots.
Can you light a home just a block off Bayshore Boulevard?
Absolutely, and we design with the coastal exposure in mind. Homes this close to the water still get salt-laden breezes, so we specify brass and copper fixtures rated for that environment.
How long does installation take?
Most Bayshore Beautiful systems are installed in one or two days. We design during a free evening consultation, build the system, then return at dusk to aim every fixture with you on site.
