Austin and the team at Bayshore Nightscapes absolutely knocked it out of the park! We recently had landscape lighting installed around our home, including the front landscaping and driveway, and the results exceeded our expectations. Austin was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He really knows his stuff, has a great eye for detail, and helped bring our vision to life. The lighting completely transformed the look of our home at night. Everything looks clean, elegant, and professionally done without being overdone. You can tell Austin takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about making sure his customers are happy. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you’re considering landscape lighting in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend Austin and Bayshore Nightscapes. Five stars all around!
Outdoor lighting in Harbour Island
Harbour Island is downtown Tampa's private island: a gated, walkable community of waterfront townhomes, condominiums, and single-family homes with the Riverwalk and Water Street minutes away. Outdoor spaces here are intimate rather than sprawling — courtyards, entry gardens, terraces, and pool decks — which makes lighting design a game of precision. Our landscape lighting plans for Harbour Island focus on getting a lot of atmosphere out of a small footprint.
In compact spaces the wrong fixture is immediately obvious, so we use small-aperture, tightly shielded brass fixtures, keep output low, and hide sources in planters, under stair treads, and behind architectural edges. Courtyards get warm outdoor living lighting and garden lighting; entries get subtle pathway lighting; and where a terrace faces the channel we keep everything glare-free so the skyline stays the main event.

Common questions
Can you install lighting in a townhome courtyard or terrace?
Yes — small-space design is a specialty. We work within HOA guidelines, use compact fixtures, and run low-voltage cable in planters and along architectural lines so there is nothing visible during the day.
Do you handle HOA approval on Harbour Island?
We provide the fixture specifications, a simple site plan, and photometric details that most boards ask for, and we are happy to answer questions directly during the review.
What does a Harbour Island project cost?
Courtyard and terrace systems typically run $1,500 to $5,000. Larger single-family properties on the island with pool decks and street frontage generally run $5,000 to $12,000.
Are fixtures rated for the channel-side salt air?
Yes. Everything we install on the island is marine-grade solid brass or copper with sealed connectors, and it carries a 20-year fixture warranty.
