Contemporary Lighting for Sunset Park
Sunset Park has changed faster than almost any neighborhood in South Tampa. Original 1950s homes now sit beside large new coastal-contemporary builds, many on canals with direct access to Old Tampa Bay. That mix means no two lighting plans look alike. For new construction we design to the architecture's clean geometry; for renovated and original homes we use landscape lighting to add the depth and warmth that a flat facade lacks after dark.
Contemporary homes light beautifully when the sources stay hidden: linear grazing on smooth stucco, in-grade uplights washing vertical planes, hidden strips under floating stair treads and bench seats. We combine that with tree uplighting on specimen palms and oaks, pathway lighting along entry walks, and full outdoor living lighting for pool decks and docks — all in marine-grade brass on dimmable, zoned circuits.
