About This Service Area
Bel Mar Shores runs along the water in South Tampa, a mix of updated mid-century homes and newer coastal construction on canal and bay-influenced lots. Properties here tend to have two distinct personalities — a quiet street-side face and a wide-open waterside back yard — and a good landscape lighting plan handles them differently. The street side gets a composed, symmetrical treatment; the waterside gets relaxed, low-level light built around how the space is actually used.
Because the water is close, we build every Bel Mar Shores system from marine-grade brass and copper with sealed connections and weather-rated transformers. Typical elements include tree uplighting on the mature palms and oaks, garden lighting through the beds, and outdoor living lighting over patios, pool decks, and docks. Warm 2700K LEDs keep the whole property in one consistent color temperature instead of the patchwork you get from mixed off-the-shelf fixtures.

Common Questions
Yes, and we generally design them as one system with separate zones. That way you can leave the front on a dusk-to-dawn schedule while switching the waterside zones on only when you are out there.
Palms need a different approach than oaks — narrow-beam fixtures set close to the trunk, aimed to catch the crown without spilling into the sky. Done right, a lit royal or queen palm becomes the strongest feature on a waterfront lot.
Most systems here run $3,000 to $9,500 depending on lot size and how much water frontage is included. Quotes are fixed and itemized after a free evening consultation.
Often, yes. If the transformer and cable runs are sound we can re-lamp, re-aim, and replace failed fixtures rather than starting over — usually at a fraction of the cost of a new system.
